This is an Intro to Ice Climbing at Pictured Rocks focusing on the skills you need to do future climbing trips to the area on your own. On top of lots of climbing, we will go over logistics, anchor systems, top and bottom managed sites as well as tips on ice climbing movement and efficiency.
Must have own equipment (can be rented from us) , snow shoes are helpful and ideally some climbing/belay experience.

WE WILL COVER
Ice climbing movement, anchor systems, top and bottom managed sites, rapelling and lots of climbing at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
LOCATION: Munising, Michigan
TIMEFRAME: All day event 8am-6pm .
Participants will cover their own food and lodging. The cost is for guided climbing and a ride to and back from the climbs.
